This week’s episode in the Hope and Anchor is with climate activist – ‘Less Waste Laura’ Young, chaplain at the Sondheim Theatre - Joe Moore, and Youth Engagement & Community Empowerment at Intermission Youth Theatre – Nana Antwi-Nyanin. They are chatting about staying authentic, keeping our promises, and looking fabulous at the same time.

Laura Young is an award winning climate activist, environmental scientist, and ethical influencer.Laura’s social media platforms continue to grow, creating a community of activists. Joe Moore is currently Assistant Curate in the parish of St Mary, Battersea, where he has served since August 2021. Joe was ordained deacon in June 2019, and has ministered in parishes in Croydon and Walworth. He trained for ordained ministry at Cranmer Hall, Durham, prior to that he worked as Pastoral Assistant at St Anne’s, Hoxton and in retail. Joe read Religion, Philosophy & Ethics at King’s College London and was educated in Fulham and Pimlico. He is Chaplain to the Sondheim Theatre in London’s West End. He loves theatre, good coffee, spending time with loved ones, and walking his rescue corgi, Revel. Joe is passionate about preaching, raising mental health awareness and inclusion.
Nana Antwi-Nyanin grew up in Hackney. He got into acting when he was eleven, performing at Her Majesty’s Theatre in Bugsy Malone, Porgy and Bess at Glyndebourne and King Priam with Kent Opera. In his teenage years, he had some brushes with the law and spent some time in prison. In 2004 he turned his life around. Nana joined Intermission initially as a volunteer to IYT where he quickly developed his facilitation and coaching skills. He was appointed Youth Engagement & Facilitation Manager in 2020.
